I just finished teaching my 1st in-person yoga class in 16 months! 🧘🏼‍♀️ Even though I’ve been teaching for more than 11 years, I felt like a newbie until class got started! 😬😅
Good morning! ☀️ For “muffin Monday” this week, my 1st attempt at orange chocolate muffins! (I’m trying to copy my favorite muffin in the world from @corinabakery in Tacoma and I’m well aware they look nothing like theirs! 😆)
I hope you had a nice Valentine’s Day! Our Valentine’s weekend was the best - complete with a cousins cookie decorating party, lots of snow (p.s. best workout ever), playing in said snow with the best neighbors ever, and (obviously) lots of sweets and good food! 🥰
Even with everything we’re dealing with these days, we can never forget. Let’s also not forget how, in the aftermath of this tragedy, we all felt like we were in it together. What a different time. ❤️
This is my #1 favorite place to climb stairs but I haven’t been in forever so wish me luck on not being too sore tomorrow. 🤞🏻 One tip I learned while writing an article about stair climbing a few years ago is to not walk down the stairs if at all possible - it will save your calves from total agony. 😩 That’s one reason I love this spot. I can walk down the path and up the stairs. Plus, the view’s not too bad either. 😉
Throwback to when I started teaching cycling again last year (one of my 2019 goals)! 🚴🏼‍♀️ I can’t believe that was a year ago and that today marks exactly six months since I’ve been in any studio. 😳 I miss in-person group fitness and I know a lot of studios are open again. I’m just not quite there yet. 😷
